Had about three hours of sleep over the past 3 days, Then finally was  
getting some really sound sleep on Barry Kennedy's sofa, when my cell phone  rings 
...1:45a.m.!!!!  "HELLO" says I in my groggiest voice...its Colin  Lucas (top 
English Pilot), Jim McCarthy, LJ, JoJo likely too on their way to the  flying 
field in Istanbuhl who have decided it would be fun to let me know that I  
ought to be there too ... realizing what time it was of course ;-)  So some  
laughing in the background...but a fun call from friends in any case :-)
 
Anyway, any thoughts of being able to focus my landings today would be  
futile!
First flight:
Hit the tape and slid past the safety line...zero.

Second landing was right up the line again, but bounced to a 68.

Third and fourth hit the line or close to it and spun around for two  more 
zeros. :-(.
 
Flew pretty good though so optimistic about tomorrow.

Tough pilots, counting Jim Frickie who took RES today, will be doing  
everything they can to thwart my attempts at TNT fame, Edgar the Soaring Junkie,  
Andy, John Luetke, Julian, Henry B, a bunch of really good thumbs will be  
present and accounted for ;-)
 
Likely scores and results will be posted, I've had too many beers and  steaks 
to remember much detail at this point :-)
