RGENTA - The sign in Dwight Hartman's basement workshop reads:
"Hartman's Fibreglass - Home of the World's Smallest Shipyard." The
81-year-old Argenta man has been producing fiberglass radio-control
scale-model boat and sailboat kits since 1962. The spelling of
"fibreglass" in his company name dates back to the original supplier of
the material. "I offer 17 different designs," he said. These include a
harbor tug boat, yachts, a Monterey Clipper fishing boat, a two-masted
schooner, a towboat, a fishing schooner, the Delta Queen riverboat and a
racing sail boat.
