[LASS Soaring] "The Results of Having Club Contests???"

You'll note from the final scores that those of us 'Elitest' got our butts  
spanked by two of our up and coming contest pilots.  Ben won, flying his  home 
built PoleCat RES ship, and Tony Utley was in the groove with his  trusty AVA.

Ben finished LSF4, and is beginning his LSF5 quest along with yours  truly.  
Tony has been lax in his record keeping for LSF and is now  realizing how 
expensive that can be when you want to move up the levels.   But along with Ben, 
he has decided to take on a leadership role, deciding to set  a great example 
with his actions this season.

Both guys are all around RC soaring enthusiasts.  Unlimited, RES,  2m, F5J, 
Slope and DS, both have some contest wins, both are traveling for  contests.
 
In general they have the bug :-)
 
With a goal of bi-monthly club contests, and  hosting The Mid America  on 
loan to Louisville. First time as a  three day, MOM major, the timing  for these 
guys to step up. :-)
