[LASS Soaring] "Had dinner with a couple of the Pompano Beach Bad Boys the other nite"

Monday nite I got into Ft Lauderdale about 4pm, I had come down the  Turnpike 
and passed right by the landfill that makes up their slope. Its huge,  
doesn't look that big till you see the ants moving along the top (giant earth  
moving equipment!).
 
I contacted Mike and he got Mark Atzil (top days past TD pilot) to set up a  
dinner and chat.

We got together to sacrifice some chicken wings and beer to the soaring  gods 
and proceeded to shoot the breeze till almost 9pm!
 
I pity the boys who don't get a chance to do some soaring with this  
group...I might even make their slope this trip!
