[LASS Soaring] "Are Handlaunched planes legal for LSF THermal and XC Tasks?"

Just wondering?  As  I have heard of some others using DLGs and  HL for their 
LSF tasks. And I thought I'd heard that planes had to be  winch or bungee 
launched for TD and XC tasks....
 
Okay guys, we don't need opinions, take a look at the rules on your Blue  LSF 
Task Forms, I think it says there....
 
Or LSF Officers?  Are they legal if hand tossed? :-)
