[LASS Soaring] World Plane will fly today

And so it did.
 
I was in the air first around 12:30 pm having a great time.  Dave  Smith 
arrived about 1:00 pm and then AJ about 2:00 pm.  AJ was the first  casualty as my 
combat wing sheered off the right side of his V-tail, ohhhh  about 60 seconds 
after he was in the air.  Fortunately there was enough  altitude that AJs 
plane was blown back on top and behind the hill with no other  damage.  Hank came 
on up flying his Bat followed by Bruce who by the way  was really cooking on 
the DS.  Gordy and Chris came by then and we all got  a chance to fly the 
World Plane.  Gordy was strutting his DS ability with  the WP.  Despite the 
slightly numb fingers and the sporadic spitting of  rain you missed some really 
decent lift today.
