[LASS Soaring] speaking of new, no need for powerful planes

The new Altitude electric motor shut off is off to Jojo for testing.

It ends the craziness of electric powered sailplanes, and brings us to
electric motor launch soaring.

Everyone programs in the same launch altitude, the plane mosies up to that
height on a cheap brushless motor set up, and once at altitude the motor shuts
off, simulating an RES type winch launch...then you have to actually fly :-)

The LMR stuff is about electric guys stuffing hot powerplants into sailplane
airframes. He who does his MotorCalc the best gets the highest 30 second
launch.

With the Alti-Start system its about the sailplane and the pilot, not the
motor system.

Hope the device pans out. I could end the need for winches in the future,
should suppliers come up with stock cheap power packs that don't change the
wing loading of our ships.
