We got back from the most ambitious part of the tour today, over 600kms,  
some thru the alps in great weather, some on the Autobahn in great weather, and  
the last and longest and hardest...on the Autobahn from France to Frankfurt, 
in  the rain...at near full speed (185kph is all my son's single cylinder 650 
BMW  would go...full throttle for more than an hour at a time).
 
Made it to Volz's home at about 9pm, got unpacked, then walked over for  some 
pizza/beers, where Michael Volz announced that tomorrow we would be driving  
to a spot near Wasserkuppe to see a world championship aerobatic slope  
competition!  Not sure if its RC or full size because frankly we are just  too damn 
tired to care at this point...but pumped about it anyway.;-)
 
You guys really missed it by not coming on this Motorcyle tour with  us!  Oh 
well maybe next year?

New Orleans Wednesday, Rhode Island Sunday, and I think Russia after  
that...or is it Hawaii?  One beach looks like the next I guess  :-)
