[LASS Soaring] Flying Thursday?

I tried.  Got there about 4:30 and the place was deserted, as in not one
single car or person in sight.  The wind was gusty and turbulent.  I gave
the Photon about half a dozen easy launches and gave up.  It was getting
tossed around and I was getting roasted by the 101 deg. oven that took the
place of the field.  I guess I was brave enough to try but I chickened out
pretty quick.  See you Sunday.
