Ben its clear you have been hanging out at the RC Groups site way too long!
This is the kind of question that gets asked and the thread then runs to
infinity, with far more said than ever done :-)

First 'Gordy' didn't write.
That was a quote from the supplier guy.
So I could do the RC Groups thing and offer up well meant blah blah about
what 'I' thought about the answer, then the possible problems and finally ending
up with little kids being hit in the eye with an molded ship at nearly
300mph while standing in the rain... :-)

But lets do the right thing, wait to ask the guys who know. However going
from the context that they did their testing, and that would include rain
flying since they know that water is a factor..and the fact that they have to PAY
a bunch of a lot of product liability insurance... and the fact that there
website doesn't have a disclaimer about not flying in the rain (course it
doesn't mention flying in solar storms or meteor strikes either:-)

I'm going to answer it this way. I just bought a combo ;-)
