If you go to the webpage you'll see the 8 channel is not much bigger than  
the Quarter sitting next to it.  Just big enough to fit 8 plugs.   Antenna Nub 
sticking out the top.  Scroll wayyy down to see it.

Here's some info I got from them about carbon fuse syndrome and RX's:

Our model fuselages are pretty tight and are made of  a 
carbon/kevlar matrix cloth, so getting the antennas clear is a  hassle, 
currently to make standard 72mhz FM rx's work, we extend their  antennas 
so that about 16" of wire exits out the back of the  fuselage).

Why won't your system's RX antenna need to be clear of  the fuse's blocking?

Our range is 5 miles.  Even when signal is  reduced by carbon fiber, our 
range is still well out of visible sight.   Some carbon has no affect at 
all.  In fact, water is the biggest  problem.  You lose 6 times more 
signal with your hand than you do when  a fully encased carbon cube 
around the receiver.
