[LASS Soaring] "The Effect of Many Radios On Easy Gliders?"

Recently I was flying with about 37 guys who all had their radios on, many
of them were invisible but I could tell that they had 2.4gigglehurts systems.
Many many others had IPD RX's working with very high powered but cheap three
channel FM TXs, but they weren't very tall (the pilots not the the TX's
(which is okay).

Many many others were tall but had other brands of batteries in their
models, slowly as the flight went on, the group of pilots and their TXs began to
close closely together (not sure why because it wasn't that cold and they
weren't whispering).

After a long while (it was a pretty good air day), the group was almost
shoulder to should ('almost' because some were taller and some had longer
antenna's because the 2.4 gigglehurts system owners were mostly pretty short,
however there were two of them (the antenna's not the pilots)

Hopefully Manufacturers have tested for this happening but as one of the one
design Easy Gliders flew past, the emissions caused it to distort and writhe
in the air pretty wildly (of course pretty would be a eye-of-the-beholder
thing). I suppose the mix and power of all those guys heights and TX's, and
antenna count could have been the reason because the really weird thing since
that day is that the Easy Glider in question now turns green and powerful when
irritated. Which concerns me because all of my sailplanes are red on the
bottom, white on top with red tips.

Who knows what the result of mixing all these Easy Gliders, heights, antenna
count and etc will be on our hobby, but I for one think there's a pretty
weird story yet to be told... yet.
