If you haven't been to Jojo's site to see how he did his elevator and  rudder 
servo install, you need to take a look.
 
This system is out of the box thinking but in fact is the only way to keep  
the access to the ballast tube clear of the servo arms (you can use full length 
 ballast rods, instead of slugs), keeps the unsupported pushrod runs as short 
as  possible (the smallest flex kills any chance of maximizing launch Alt), 
and  there is no chance of the servo arms rubbing on the inside of the canopy.
