My best handlauncher, number 12, is still in the tree from early March.  Not to worry though I have 2 others that are in fair shape and 2 new ones on the way.  I do need to get out there and throw rocks at it or something to get the rx gear back but it is waaaay up there.  

Anyway I was out in the yard chucking handlaunch a couple of mondays ago and it was nice, a bit windy but the lift was there and sun was shining.  I decided to put the Mantis together and strig out the highstart.  A full strech put me just up to the trees and I thought about what would happen if I poped off so I decided not to pop off.  I had some great flights but then I did it, oh yea a pop off put the  Mantis inverted right into the tree and she hit every branch on the way down.  What was not broke in the tree got smashed on the ground.  The Louisville Slugger is dead.  Don't be sad for me though that just means that the radio gear is ready for a new home.  What next?
