Thanks Rcsoaring.com for posting the results, I see a lot of my soaring
buddies and names on the list, but most guys in the hobby won't ever meet Keith
or a McGowan, or even Mark Browning or Scotty Meader...but they see the names
over and over and wonder, what sailplanes are these guys choosing as their
contest weapons?
While I'll never have JW's talents or the talents of many of the guys
winning, I know that if I shovel enough snow in Orlando or cut enough lawns in the
Arctic, I'll sooner or later be able to afford the sailplanes they choose.
Better skills, more experience and results are the criteria 'I' use to plan
my next sailplane purchase, not goofy stuff like airfoil or weight....but
alas, CD's or impound guys seem to be unwilling to ask pilots to write their
models on the top of the score card or next to their names, instead of another
repetition of their illegible addresses.
So this time I'll guess :-)
JW flew a Supra, Keith Kindrick flew a Onyx JW, Edgar flew a Sharon, Bill
Malvey (sort of:-) flew a Sharon,
Bob McGowan flew a Falcon 600, and ????
Okay you guys, you didn't list your sailplanes at the event, so how about
listing them now? :-)

New Orleans still
