Hi Guys,
 
My friend Tor who is making the plane stand I use all the time (custom  
version for me with knobs all around for complete disassembly and packing in a  
suitcase or Sportube) called and said he was doing a production run, so I told  
him to send me three.
 
They are quality plywood and have 1/4 x 20 blind nut in the bottom  which 
fits any camera tri pod or you can make up a stake like mine.
 
With shipping included $60.
 
Let me know quick, before I offer them outside of our group. Yes I can wait  
a couple weeks for the money  ;-)
 
Like most of our suppliers we tend to sooner or later piss them off and  they 
quick making cool stuff for us, Tor is no exception and that's why they  
hadn't been available for some time.
He introduced them, then moved homes and didn't answer mails or send stands  
to those who had requested during the move.  And yes he got plenty of mail  on 
how he should run his business, and what a crook he was and how they'd let  
everyone in the hobby know about his bad service and lack of  communication.
 
He's settled into his home and has his shop set up again, and since I just  
waited, got the first ones off the griddle :-)
