Ok, mine is a little more serious I guess because I am intense person. And
of course this is a hot button for me.

My knowledge of planes is very little, I don't fly them well (in fact there
is now a little handlaunch in my neighbor's tree), and I can hardly carry on a
intelligent conversation with anyone about them but business is business.

Assuming Oleg's portrayal of the event is accurate then I do not blame him.
Whether he bought one or 1000 he should be given the respect he deserves as
a consumer. If there was a history from Oleg wanting replacements claiming
out of the box failures and it was tied back to damage caused by him or one
his customers it would be different.

At the very least you offer to inspect them to determine if it was a
manufacturing defect and then make the decision.

The "expectation of how 'we' feel they should run their thing." comment is
rhetoric (no personal offense intended) at the highest level. The thing is
"if you screw me, and I mean screw me and don't care or blame me when it wasn't
my fault you deserve every black eye you can get.

Maybe not holding these manufactures, these distributors, these small one
guy companies or these corporations accountable is the reason why they do it in
the first place.

Why, because it is the expectation we set. And if that is what you are
willing to live with then that is what you deserve.

My intent is not to cause hard feelings and I don't have a dog in the fight.

Let me share a recent experience with you. One of our customers called me
the other day concerning stainless panels that one of our sales persons told
them they did not need in an installation. Well it turns out they did. They
had budgeted for this project a year ago and had zero additional funds at
this time to purchase them. The stainless sells for $850.00. Before I could
offer a solution of any kind this customer threatened to jerk a 75k order with
us and post this experience on a national VA Hospital website if I did not
give it to them at no charge. We would have arrived at what he wanted without
the threats because that would have been the correct thing to do and I told
him that. I wonder why he jumped right to that conclusion? Perhaps he flys
RC planes. Hmmmmm.

On the other hand perhaps I should have just told them to stick it because
every customer out there is trying to love me in the end.

This is just my opinion, I'm nobody.

And it is still fun for me despite my many misadventures.
