Actually I always wanted this plane having admired watching it fly when Eric
had was around flying his. Makes a nice back up just in case. Besides I
got such an excellent price on this at $117.00, no shipping.

I was very surprised at how much internal bracing is in the fuse/pod area.
I was not delighted to see this permanently pre-installed heavy looking nose
filler in it. While I have not compared them I am almost certain it is
heavier than my AVA.

Still....$117.00 and a decent flying plane.

Ed has some ideas to reduce the tail weight by not installing a servo in the
tail, although I have for now. Eliminate the servo weight and wiring weight
from tail decreases required weight up front.

At this point I just need to trim out the canopy, sand the wing joiners to
fit, anchor the rudder servo, and install the rudder. I also need to modify
the exit point of the pre-installed push rod housing servo. On the fuse it
exits about 6 inches from the control horn on the rudder. That is fine for a
piano wire push rod (that came with the plane) but I am using a carbon push
rod. I want to extend from the current housing with about 4 more inches of
housing in order to avoid slop or bend of the carbon push rod. I'll be done
tonight. Dang what an ugly color.

T.
